A day in Kyiv, Ukraine
Following my visit to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone I was able to spend an entire day touring through Kyiv. It was a unique time of year, just shortly after Orthodox Easter, and there were displays of traditional painted Eggs lining the street between two famous churches in the city. We walked through the display, which included stalls for food and other items, and were able to view these creations up close. The city itself had a beautiful charm to it in the Old Town, and the gold domed churches were extremely prevalent and beautiful.
